Metalfoam.net - Newsletter No. 8 ================================ 1) MetFoam2003 conference 2) Special Issue of AEM on metal foams 3) Special issue of MRS Bulletin on cellular materials -------------------------- 1) The 3rd International conference on Cellular Metals and Metal Foaming Technology will be held from 23 to 25th June 2003 in Berlin (Germany) and is the third of a successful series of international conferences on these materials and technologies. The programme is now available and includes 70 oral and 60 poster presentation on three days. Some metal foam produces will exhibit their products. Up to now 210 participants have registered. Registrations are still possible. Although the deadline for abstract submissions is over now, a limited number of poster conributions can still be accepted since we have capacities for up to 70 posters. The issue contains a selection of 18 papers which were presented at MetFoam2001 in Bremen and which were updated by the authors.
